This new book is the first of three books titled “Music Business Artist Development Volume 1,” published about the music business, a collection of subjects previously released as eBooks. This book is the result of my 35 years in the business of music. Over those 35 years, I have written, collected, and reflected on what I feel is necessary and critical subject material for anyone interested in the music business. I assure you that if you have or are interested in a career in the music business, you will learn and hopefully succeed in this business by reading my books.
Author Biography
James Bruce, age 79, is an accomplished author, producer, agent, and consultant whose remarkable career spans decades in the entertainment industry. A proud great-grandfather, Bruce has lived a life as colorful and dynamic as the stories he tells.
He has penned an acclaimed autobiography and numerous nonfiction works on the music business, drawing from his firsthand experiences working alongside artists, navigating contracts, and witnessing the triumphs and pitfalls of an ever-evolving industry. With an insider’s eye and a storyteller’s heart, Bruce has guided readers through the highs and lows of a world few truly experience.
Now, in his latest work, Drugs Made in Heaven and Murder on Broadway, Bruce turns his talent to fiction. This gritty, pulse-pounding thriller explores loyalty, betrayal, and the razor-thin line between justice and survival. With cinematic pacing and unflinching realism, Bruce proves that age is no barrier to reinvention—or to keeping readers on the edge of their seats.
His latest work, My Bible and Me: Not a study, not a sermon—just a sincere conversation between a man and his Bible. Me and My Bible is a testament to the enduring power of Scripture and an invitation for readers to deepen their own relationship with God's Word. Honest, encouraging, and deeply personal, this book reminds us that no matter where we are in our faith journey, the Bible still has something to teach us.
Blending wisdom, wit, and a lifetime of hard-earned perspective, James Bruce continues to inspire, entertain, and surprise—both on the page and in life.
